You Could Be The Owner of Late Comic Robin Williams E-Bike!

Robin Williams, the late actor who made the world laugh, was also a huge bicycle enthusiast. He owned dozens of bicycles of all types, and right now they’re up for auction, with proceeds benefiting the Challenged Athletes Foundation and the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.

Curiously, there is one electric bike in Williams’ collection, a PiCycle that was built by Marcus Hays, an engineer who also worked on the original Lee Iacocca EVGlobal eBike.

This PiCycle is equipped with a rear cargo rack, hydraulic disc brakes, a front hub motor, and a Shimano Alfine belt drive instead of a traditional steel chain. It’s a weird-looking e-bike that is for sure, but we do hope it earns a lot of money for charity.
