Check Out This E-bike Prototype That Doesn’t Need Charging!

You can see the prototype in the picture. It’s probably not the best-looking ebike in the world, but seems to work… The aesthetic was not the keyword during the build, but to compensate that the bike has Bluetooth mobile controlling system… 😉

So why is this e-bike different from the ones you can purchase nowadays? The battery is charged by the cyclist! Filling up the battery while pedalling takes around 8 hours, and after that, you can get one hour of electric support.

We don’t know, how hard you should pedal to juice up your batteries, but the concept seems to be interesting. If the designers could make the system more compact with better efficiency and lower price, then this could be the future of the ebikes.
