Check Out The Crazy Hutch Superbike – An E-Bike from the 80’s!

Speed demons were around before the advent of e-bikes, and here’s proof: a fully-faired six speed bicycle with aerodynamic wheels and a trunk fairing that was sold in 1989 as the Hutch Superbike:

The bike was on sale in the late 1980s for just $299 (£250) and was capable of hitting speeds above 45MPH (we assume this was on flat ground), but it is still impressive and it looks so 80’s in style that it hurts my eyes!
